He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Kenneth and Mary Lucinda Capps (Mathis); his son Douglas; and his brothers, Lee and Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen; and his siblings, Otis, Lila and Frances. He is also survived by his three sons.
