She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Chrisop and Viola Chrisop (Gernant); her husband William Rice; and her brother Arlyn Chrisop. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Glazier (Jim) of Geneseo and Scott Rice (Jackie) of Geneseo; her grandchildren, Jacob Glazier, Kyle Glazier, Megan Rice (Nate), Josh Rice and Brandon Rice (Abigail); her nephews, Damian Girten (Melissa) and Bill Girten (Tricia); and her great-nephew Richard Pilcher. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Geneseo Humane Society or Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry.
