She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Carter and Lillian Carter (Rieke); her husband Fred Pinks; and her sisters, Marguerite Humphrey and Iona Humphrey.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Pinks (Chicago); and her foster sister Ruth Ann Durbin (Kewanee). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
