He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. and Merita Russell, Sr. (Redfern); his wife Nancy Farrey; his daughter Deborah Jean Thompson; and his sisters, Mary Godsey and Janice Schardt.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna Walden (Mike) of Sanford, FL, Robert Russell (Carleen) and Randy Russell (Jacquie); and his son-in-law Jack Thompson of Inman, SC.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID regulations only ten people are allowed in the funeral home at a time, masks must be worn at all times, and social distancing maintained.
