He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Phillips (Jennifer) of Peru, IL, Rae Lynn Jackson (Mark) of Peosta, IA and Cathy Jo Zahari (Ron) of Port Barrington, IL; his grandchildren, Anna Noble, Amber Brown (John), Alyssa Bishop (Miles), Rachel Kies (Royce), Nicole Jackson, Ryan Zahari and Sean Zahari; and his great grandchildren, Tyrene, Maxwell, Johnnie, Daniel, Henry, Evelynn and Asher.
Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Geneseo, or Quad Cities Emmaus.
