He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Gib" and Pearl Johnson (Firch). He is survived by: his wife Carol Fritz; his sons, Darrin Johnson (Sue) and Sean Johnson (Jolene); his grandchildren, Claire, Derek, Tenley and Jillian; and his sister Janet Cady (Gib).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Jerry Johnson Memorial Fund and will be distributed amongst charities that are meaningful to the family.
