We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2023, at the age of 83, Janet J. Shoemaker of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Madison, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Polenske and Margaret Polenske (Dupsky); her husband Lee; her children, Audra Oliver, Dwayne Hajek, Byron Hajek and Tadd Hajek; and her siblings, Dorothy Wilson, Caroline Grypp and Harold Polenske. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jeanette Shoemaker Memorial Fund.
