He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Laura Johnson (Jacobs); and his siblings, Bernard Johnson, Donna Vinavich, Donald Johnson and Irving Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Pamelia Johnson; his children, Jama Johnson Boes (Richard) of Mercer, WI and James "Todd" Johnson (Michele) of Centreville, VA; his grandchildren, Alec Boes, Kelly Redoutey, Sarah Boes, James Johnson and Rosie Johnson; his great grandchildren, Owen Redoutey and Lucas Redoutey; and his sister Joann Skelton.
