With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacob W. Steele of Geneseo, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 29. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ralph, Mary Nordstrom and William Steele. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Steele and Susan Steele (Nordstrom) of Geneseo, IL; his grandmother Wynona Steele of Atkinson, IL; his brother John Steele (Kelsey) of Atkinson, IL; his niece Claire Steele; his nephew Judd Steele; his aunts and uncles, Linda Haught (Paul), Mark Nordstrom, James Nordstrom (Chris), Carolyn Kerschieter (Miachel Sr.) and Lisa Nordstrom; and his cousins, Ken Waechter, Rick Waechter, Shane Nordstrom, Jenica Scheib, Brenden Nordstrom, Jamisen Nordstrom, Chance Nordstrom, Jarron Nordstrom, Miachel Kerschieter Jr. and Matthew Kerschieter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Jacob Steele Memorial Fund to be distributed amongst local charities.
