With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ida Anna Goldsmith of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Williamsburg, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ida Anna left this world on January 21, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottlieb Frehner and Martha Frehner; her siblings, Elsa Cooper, Clara Smothers, Martha Frehner and William Frehner; and her husband Robert Goldsmith.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Goldsmith (Robin) of Erie, CO and Carla Mitchell (Gary Summers) of Gray, TN; and her grandsons, Geoffrey Goldsmith of Erie, CO, Benjamin Mitchell of Dallas, TX and Travis Williams of Carlisle, PA.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her daughter to help with final expenses, or to the Alzheimer's Association.This obituary was written in loving memory by Ms. Ida's family.
