He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Tarkington and Barbara Tarkington (Hendon); his siblings, Charles "Jeffery" Tarkington and Theresa Tarkington; and his daughter Amber Tarkington.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Wilson; his children, Todd Tarkington (Vanessa) of Geneseo, Chad Koker (Jennifer) of Anchorage, AK and Lindy Diehl (Justin) of Polo, IL; his grandchildren, Tanner, Tucker Tarkington and Wesley Diehl; his daughter Tonya Tarkington; and his sister Karen Sanders (Bill) of Colona.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Henry Tarkington Memorial Fund.
