With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Currier of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Currier and Velma Currier (Imes); his former wife Eleanor Mae Logsdon; his wife Doris E. Beyer; and his siblings, Grady, Francis "Nick", Phil, Delores "Dee", Beverly "Bev", Linda and Roberta.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, David Beyer (Julia) of Appleton, WI, Jeanne Conley (J. C.) of Sherrill, IA, Susan Beyer of Deerfield, IL, Jill Beyer of Maui, HI and Katherine Kinmonth (Kary) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his sisters, Sharon Stage of Geneseo, Crystal Peed of Kewanee and Marvella Husar of Kewanee; and his sisters-in-law, Joan and Bev Currier. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
