He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Chaney and Ruth Chaney (Kennedy). He is survived by: his wife Sylvia A. (Young); his children, Eugene S. Chaney Jr. of Chicago, IL, Karen (Bruce Lampron) of Columbia, MD and Sheila (Michael P. Zrimm Jr.) of Woodbridge, VA; his brother Alan Chaney of Dunstable; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Jessica, Virginia, Rebecca Lampron, Michael A. Zrimm and Rachael Barone (Matthew). He is also survived by cousins and several nieces.
