He was predeceased by: his parents, Erlo Shaw and Bertha Shaw (Smith); his wife Verna Jones; and his brothers, Dallas and Bob.
He is survived by: his children, Joel Shaw (Carol) of Omaha, NE, Julie Bosold (Steve), Joni Beck (Howard), Judi Heller (John) and Jill DePauw (Marty); his grandchildren, Meredith Garwood (Jared), Jordan Shaw, Taylor Eliason (Steven), Traci Bosold (Rick Rodarte), Allison Blade (Jake), Tom Bosold, Corbyn Beck, Andrea Beck, Ryan Heller (Cassidy Gransow), Robyn Schultz (Jordan), Devan DePauw (Abbey) and Shawn DePauw; his siblings, Lois Johnson of Longview, TX, Mary Hackl (Bob), Bill Shaw of Camp Point, IL and John Shaw (Mary); and his close friend Clarice Massingill.
In lieu of flowers and statuary memorials, the family would like to encourage everyone to consider the gift of life and register to become an organ donor.
