We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2022, at the age of 92, Donald E. Meier of Geneseo, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Meier and Clara Meier (Prell); his wife Joan Madsen; and his siblings, Truman Meier and Marjorie Hedlund.

He is survived by: his children, Janet Landeweer (David) of Arlington Heights, IL and Robert Meier (Emily) of Montesano, WA; his grandchildren, Daniel Meier (Zandile), Ryan Meier (Elena), Julia Rush (Evan), Steven Landeweer and Jonathan Landeweer; his great grandchildren, David Meier, Jobe Meier and Khanya Meier; and his sister Audrey Inbody of Inverness, IL..

Memorials may be directed to Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry, First Congregational Church, or the charity of the donor's choice.
