She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Whitaker and Margaret Whitaker (Klinger); her sister Sharon Luikart; and her stepfather Rusty Larimer. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Rusk; her children, Ray (Stacey Cotty), Brad (Jamie Cotty), Krissy (Nick Hessler), Montana, Mike (Pat Rusk), Dave (Rhonda Rusk), Lisa Rusk of Geneseo and Jason (Andrea Rusk); her siblings-in-law, Judy Borkgren of Geneseo and Bill Rusk of East Moline; her grandchildren, Andrew, Dylan, Erika, Eli Cotty, Chris, Lynn Cotty, Sawyer, Matilda, Silas, Mabel, Gwendolyn Hessler, Seth, Jessica Rusk, Spencer, Macy Rusk, Sydney Rusk, Kyle, Ryan, Ryley Rusk, Kyler Rusk, Madison Wancket, Nathan Johnson, Lexi Johnson, Zach Johnson and Ava Rusk; and her great grandchildren, Kayden, Kash, Khloe, Braxton, Bennett and Theodore.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Henry County Humane Society in Kewanee, IL or Hillcrest Home.
