With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deighton Leon Atkisson of Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Lou Grosh; his son Brian Leon Atkisson; his mother Phyllis; his brother Robert; and his grandsons, Alan and Tyler Morrisson.
He is survived by: his daughter Alyson Anne Morrisson (Mike) of Clive, IA; his grandchildren, Preston, Colton Atkisson of Geneseo, Cortney Fullerton (Tyler) of Geneseo and Kelsey Collin (Bert); and his great grandchildren, Braydon, Shae, Skilynn, Sadie, Lawson, Shiloh, Oliver, Kinsley and Deighton Leon.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Smile Train or Hammond Henry Long-Term Care Garden Fund.
