Darlene A. Ball Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene A. Ball of Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewald Soldwisch and Elda Soldwisch (Bergman); her husband Gene Ball; her son Dennis Ball; and her siblings, Melba Schoonover, Margaret Jurgens, LaDonna Wamsley, Vernon Soldwisch and Donald Soldwisch.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Coppejans (Art) of Geneseo, Richard Ball of Bristol, IN and Robert Ball of Dixon, IL; her grandchildren, Andrea Oglesby (Taylor) and Bradley Ball (Jackie); and her great grandchildren, Keegan Oglesby and Kayl Oglesby.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (316 S Oakwood Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254).
Memorials may be directed to the Darlene Ball Memorial Fund which will be distributed to local charities.
