He was predeceased by: his mother Wendy. He is survived by: his father Trevor; his brother Dennis; his grandparents, Mark, Lenna Thompson of Delhi, IA., Larry and Andrea Gull of East Moline; and his aunts and uncles, Adam, Mitch, Emily Tanner (McKenna), Rick, Heather, Ashley, Gregory, Lisa, Douglas, Ginger, Melissa, Tim and Tracey Pettit.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Daniel L. Thompson Memorial Fund.
