She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Carey and Gertrude Carey (Reed); her husband Richard Alexander; her children, Mary Southwick and Doug Allen; and her siblings, Maryanne Liedtke, Patricia Schorpp, Georgia Fordham, June Deshane, Dorothy Phipps, Leo Carey, Robert Carey, Gene Carey and Jack Carey.
She is survived by: her former husband John E. Allen; her children, John B. Allen (Marta), Bart Allen, Todd Allen (Anne), Corla Swan (John) of Colona, IL, Vicki Sorensen and Angela Skipworth; and her siblings, Gary Carey (Joetta), Cheryl Crouch (Jesse), Terry Crouch and Francis Staub. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
