He was predeceased by: his parents, AnnaMia Pleasant and Thomas Pleasant. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Barnes of Geneseo; his children, Patrick Barnes (Kimberly) of Carterville, IL and Carrie Barnes of Riverside, IA; his brother Raymond Barnes of Kalamazoo, MI; and his grandchildren, Bryan and Kinley Barnes of Carterville, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
