He was predeceased by: his parents, Renatus Hein (Ray) and Thelma Hein (Cook); his brother Raymond J. Hein; his son Terry Hein; and his grandson Steven Hein Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Carton; his children, Robin Hein of Camanche, IA, Keith (Deb) of Clinton and Steven Hein of Clinton; his grandchild Jan (Hein); and his son Griessler (Joe) of Elgin, IL.. He is also survived by children, being blessed with 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
