Chad Ristau Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2020, at the age of 52, Chad Ristau (Geneseo, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Patrick Ristau (Pam) of Geneseo, IL and Judith Millslagle (Tom) of Savanna, IL; his wife Jamie Swiger; his children, Ayden and Remi; his sisters, Toni McGowen (Eric) of Williamsport, IN and Jennifer Durick (Steve) of Des Moines, IA; his father-in-law Steve Swiger (Linda) of Geneseo, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Angie Bardsley of Colorado, Kerry VanNieuwenhuyse (James) of South Dakota and Dave Swiger (Kira) of South Carolina. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to The Chad Ristau Scholarship Fund, a yearly scholarship awarded to a senior from JD Darnell High School planning to pursue a career in the construction trade.
