It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Caulpetzer of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Ballard and Lutish Ballard (Massey); her children, Frances Mullin and Richard Heldt; and her siblings, Catherine Calhoun, Darlene Spear, Mary Phillips, Mildred Nicholson, Alta Hudgens and Lester Ballard.
She is survived by: her son John Heldt (Sandy) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; her stepson Scott Caulpetzer of Davenport; her grandchildren, Amy, Darcy, Ginger and Greg; her great grandchildren, John, Christina, Evan, David, Christopher and Caroline; her great great grandchild Jordan; and her sister Adda Jean Little of Bettendorf.
Those attending are asked to wear a mask and should meet at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home by 10:00 a. m.
