She was predeceased by: her parents, Miriam Snodgrass and Harry Snodgrass; and her son-in-law Jamie Van Buskirk. She is survived by: her husband John Schang; her daughters, Sue and Kristi; and her grandsons, Alex and Sam.

Memorial donations made be made to the Henry County Humane Society - Geneseo or Hammond Henry Hospital.
