It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara G. Henderson of Geneseo, Illinois, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Leasure and Olive Leasure (Sinnard); her husband Donald "Stretch" Henderson; her daughter Pam Henderson; and her brother Tom Leasure.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Newell (Glenn) and Donata Garvey (Joe); her grandchildren, Cari Palmer (Brad), Patrick Newell (Tara), Joseph Garvey, Audrey Garvey and Isabella Garvey; and her great grandchildren, Baylee Palmer and Kyah Newell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Mary Catholic Church (1002 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112).
