He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Abell and Mary Alice Abell (Mattingly); his wife Mary Ellen Bohart; his children, Linda Ole and Paul Abell; and his grandson Adam Abell.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Abell (Nancy), Kathleen Abell (Gaylan) of Sun City, AZ, Diane White (Dennis) of Glendale, AZ, Mary Beth Peterson (Kevin), Daniel Abell (Christa) of Potosi, WI, Jerry Abell (Maggie) and Rose Mary Bouwens (Mark). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or St. Malachy Catholic Church.
