It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alana Wachtel of Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur "Pete" Allyn and Donna Bottorff (Caskey). She is survived by: her husband Thomas Wachtel; and her children, James, Aubrey Wachtel, Alexa, Aaron, Pamela Wachtel, Lucille, Charlize, Frederick, Felix, Katie, Jim Kikos, Isaac, Hailey, Libby, Greg Schwaegler, Anna, Adam, Maria and Maggie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alana B. Wachtel Memorial Fund which will be distributed amongst several amazing local charities.
