He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph VanDeWoestyne and Evelyn VanDeWoestyne (Williams); his wife Jerilyn VanDeWoestyne; and his sister Kathleen Cauwels. He is survived by: his children, Brett VanDeWoestyne (Renee), Brandi Catton (Steve) and Brooke Bailey; his grandchildren, Nathan VanDeWoestyne, Katie VanDeWoestyne, Zach Catton, Alyssa Catton and Bella Bailey; his great grandchild Nora; and his close friend Cheryl Phillips of Kewanee.

Memorials may be directed to the Alan VanDeWoestyne Memorial Fund to be distributed amongst his favorite local charities.
