He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Sr and Florine Carter Sr. (Pauley); his brothers, John Carter and Ronnie Carter; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Carter and Butch Bridwell.
He is survived by: his wife Marché Carter of Gays, IL; his daughters, Tabetha Long (Paul) and Tonya Carter; his grandchildren, Dustin Long (Bobbi Malone), Nicole Shaffer, Brittany Tappendorf (Kirk), Chaase Long, Christopher Fuller (Whitley Williams) and Drew Lampley; his great grandchildren, Kaylie, Waylon, Keagen, Alexis, Landon, Brooke, Breighton, Daphne, Kameron, Riley, Grayson and Deacon; and his siblings, Lloyd Carter, Carl Carter Sr. and Marla Bridwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to the COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Foundation.
