He was predeceased by: his father James X. Schultz; and his brother Peter Schultz. He is survived by: his mother Emma Schultz of Gardner; his daughter Sarah Probst (Andy) of Sigel, IL; his granddaughter Annie Ray Probst; his siblings, James R. Schultz (Terri) of Gardner, John Schultz (Susan) of South Wilmington, Shawn Schultz (Jessie) of South Wilmington and Susan Myrick (Rick) of Gardner; and his sister-in-law Cindy Schultz of Gardner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the R. W. Patterson Funeral Home (401 E Main St, Braidwood, IL 60408). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (165 Rice Rd, South Wilmington, IL 60474).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for his future granddaughter or to the donor's choice.
