He was predeceased by: his mother Debra O'Neill (Schmidt); his half-sister Ashley Seabert; and his grandmother Phyllis Schmidt. He is survived by: his father Edward W. O'Neill (Mary) of Dwight; his half-brothers, Brian Seabert (Kimberly Robertson) and Colin Seabert; his stepsisters, Andrea Rushing (Emerson) and Stephanie Fisher; his nieces and nephews, BellaRae Whalen and Lucas Friant; his uncle Randy Schmidt (Mary); and his cousins, Megan Hucek (Adam), Ryan Schmidt and David Schmidt.

Memorials can be made in Tyler's name to a charity of the donor's choice.
