He is survived by: his wife Wavel Needy of Gardner; his daughters, Dawn Luzbetak (Ken) of Bremerton, WA and Sharon Bernico of Braidwood, IL; and his grandchildren, Sarah Myers (Steve) of Mystic, CT, Karen Luzbetak (Andy) of Bremerton, WA, Jennifer Nesselroad (Brian) of Burnaby, BC, Timothy Bernico (Tracy) of Braidwood, Alex Bernico of San Francisco, CA, Secilanne Amlotte (Mark) of Wilmington, NC, Erin Humphreys (Neal) of Lawrencville, GA and Gail Brewer (Bill) of Rockmart, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He transitioned to the computer era and video chatted daily during the covid pandemic.
