It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Carol Hansen of Gardner, Illinois, born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Annita Freeland and Arling Freeland; her husband Bobby C. Hansen; her son Dale Lee; her sister Arlette Finnerty (Martin); her nephew Michael Finnerty; and her siblings-in-law, Russell Hansen (Jenny), Wayne Hansen (Catherine), Gaylord Hansen, Marilyn Kociss (John), Ida Grant and Ina Tjelle.
She is survived by: her son Brian Hansen (Tamara) of Gardner; her grandchildren, Alison Watson (Tim) of Braceville, Bradley Hansen (Emily) of Coal City, Paul Hansen (Maxine) of Gardner and Sean Hansen (Madison) of Gardner; her great grandchildren, Mason, Lorraine, Joanna Hansen, Dailynn (Brendan Alexander), Dakota and Mackinzie Watson; her great great grandchildren, Malayah, Brycen and Raelynn; her friend Mary Rossio; her brother-in-law Bernard Grant; her cousin Pete Hexdal; her nephews, Jeff Grant, Stephen Schmidt and David Hansen; and her niece Robyn Brogan.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the United Lutheran Church of Gardner or Lightways Hospice.
