Ina Tjelle Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2021, at the age of 84, Ina Tjelle of Gardner, Illinois, born in Morris, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter C. Hansen and Vera Hansen (Porter); her children, Stephen Schmidt and Robyn Brogan; her grandson Casey Kohlmeier; and her siblings, Russell Hansen (Ginny), Gaylord Hansen, Bobby Hansen, Kenneth Hansen, Wayne Hansen (Cathy), Marilyn Kociss (John) and Ida Grant.

She is survived by: her children, John Schmidt of Ransom, Amy Ward (Jeff) of Wildwood and Donny Schmidt (Keri) of Saunemin, Illinois; her children-in-law, Becky Schmidt of Bloomington and Howard Brogan of Fairbury, Illinois; her grandchildren, Adam Ward, Lauren Bazzoli (Andrea), Caitlin McCracken (Carter), Steven Schmidt, Matthew Schmidt (Alison Novakow), Kelsey Schmidt, Kelly Henning (Scott), Douglas Vaughan (Brittany), Kristy Berwick (James), Jordan Kociss and Ryli Schmidt; and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Hansen and Benny Grant of Gardner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Ina's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
