She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lavaja and Sanda Lavaja; and her friend Pat Klein. She is survived by: her sons, Tim Grimes of Gardner and Thomas Grimes of Gardner; her grandson Chance; her siblings, James Lavaja of Florida and Vicky Mansfield (Dean) of Missouri; and her pets, Buddy, Birdie and Tom.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family for her grandson, Chance.
