It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cathy Diane Wright of Gardner, Illinois, born in Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard S. Merrill and ImoJean Hannah; and her brother Richard Steven Merrill. She is survived by: her husband Wayne E. Wright; her children, Jonathan M. Baker (Doris Centano) of Gardner, Matthew L. Duering (Christina Hofsteadter) of Manteno, IL and Sarah L. Duering (Jacob Burger) of South Wilmington, IL; and her sister Carolyn Russell (late Richard) of Braidwood. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Wound Warrior Foundation, or any local animal shelter of your choice.
