We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2020, at the age of 73, Walter Earl Bass Sr. of Galva, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Bass and Louise Bass (Simer); and his granddaughter Kayla. He is survived by: his wife Sally E. Breid; and his children, Lonnie Bell of Port Richey, FL, Melanie Lyons (Scott) of Algonquin, IL, Tina Petersen of Mt. Vernon, IL, Walter E. "Wally" Bass Jr. (Lisa) of Woodhull, IL and Amy Bass (Barry Hargis) of Kewanee. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Walt Bass Memorial Fund for a memorial to be established.
