He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Brooks Nolan and Leonard Leon Brooks; and his nephew James Leonard Brooks. He is survived by: his friend Lynne Bullock (Bevans); and his siblings, Robert Ernest Brooks, Carrie Mae Brooks, Rebecca Helen Ganssle and Roger Leon Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
