It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Irene Nelson of Galva, Illinois, born in London Mills, Illinois, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Brashear and Gladys Brashear (Welch); and her husband John A. Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Ted Nelson (Lynda) of LaFayette, Gregory Nelson (Juli) of LaFayette, John Nelson Jr. (Linda) of LaFayette, Steven Nelson (Linda) of Galva, Richard Nelson (Shelley) of Dahinda and Bonita Nelson (Ron) of Juneau, AK. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
