It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie L. Sloan of Galva, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Spitzer and Anna V. Spitzer (Peterson); her spouse Orlo E. Sloan; and her daughter Barbara Lorance. She is survived by: her son Gary L. Sloan (Nancy) of Victoria; her grandchildren, Justin Sloan (Amber), Megan Bouldin (Jon), Annette Hamilton (Bill) and Rochelle Fields; her great grandchildren, Zac Hamilton (Chelsea), Jarret Hamilton and Ashley Pfaffe (Alex); and her great great grandchild Asher Pfaffe.
