It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marcia Hammond of Galva, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Heeren and Jacqueline Sturtevant (Heeren). She is survived by: her daughters, Casey, Paige Hammond (Jobe) and Erika Happel (Parks); her siblings, Mary Bush, Lee and Paul Heeren; and her grandchildren, Jarrett Andersen, Meila, Gwyneth, Lena Jobe, Lily and Reed Parks.

Due to COVID restrictions, the funeral service is private but will stream live online via the Vandemore Funeral Home Facebook page on Wednesday, October 21 at 11 am.
