He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Alan and Grace Virginia Doty (Hodges); his former wife Cecile Doty (Cogswell); and his daughter Grace Voytas. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Doty; his daughter Rose Vincent (Carr) of Portland, ME; his stepchildren, Wil Cox of Mundelein, IL, Christy Hibbs (Ed) of Athens, IL, Carrie Fleer (Christopher) of Havana, IL, Amanda Whitney (Philip) of Belton, MO, Cassidy Venema of Cleveland, OH and Will Venema of Cincinnati, OH; his grandchildren, James Timothy Vincent, Cecile Voytas and John Voytas; his stepgrandchildren, Caleb Fleer, Lauren Fleer, Connor Hibbs, Katherine Cox, Edith Whitney and Micah Whitney; his son-in-law Rick Voytas (Caitlin) of St. Louis, MO; and his siblings, Lynn Elsbury of Independence, MO, Dianne Myhan (Jerry) of Searcy, AR and Walter Alan Doty of Blue Ridge, GA..
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (319 S State St, Geneseo, IL 61254).
Memorials may be directed to the Tim Doty Memorial Fund which will be dispersed amongst his favorite charities.
