It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Simmons of Galva, Illinois, born in Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur "Bill" A. and Gertrude "Gert" Eunice Aileen Simmons (Carlson). He is survived by: his wife Linda DeMay; his children, Gillian Oliver (Scott) of Fort Wayne, IN, Caitlin Grant (Ronnie) of Davenport, IA, Natalie Boelens (Brock) of Cambridge and Luke Simmons of Mahomet; his grandchildren, Noah and Aileen; and his siblings, Jim Simmons (Linda) of West Plains, MO, Judy Anderson (Roger) of Galva and Jackie White (John) of Prairie Village, KS..
The funeral home will monitor capacity limits to maintain compliance with COVID regulations. The funeral home requires that all guests wear a mask for the safety of all those attending.
