He was predeceased by: his parents, Conway J. and Mary D. Sterling Sr. (Rue). He is survived by: his children, Tom Sterling of Kewanee, Toby Sterling of Kewanee, Jeremy Sterling (Nicole) of Galva and Jackie Nyert (Chad) of Kewanee; and his siblings, Glenn Sterling of Peru, IL, Earl Sterling of LaSalle, IL, Albert Sterling (Terri) of Gilbert, AZ, Henry Sterling (Kathy) of Joliet, IL, Louis Sterling of Peoria, Sharon Bango of Hennepin, IL, Betty Moore of Avon Park, FL, Virginia Garza and Gaylene Harden (George). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
