It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon J. Collinson of Galva, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph I. Collinson and Doris A. Collinson (Smith); his former wife Marie G. Anderson; his siblings, Harold Dean, Lyle and Leotta; and his sons, Greg Collinson and John Headley.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Countryman; his children, Cathy Colbert (Rick) of Mansfield, IL, Doug Collinson of Couer, James Headley (Bonnie) of Galva, Carlin Follis (Robert) of Galva, Cherrie Rosander (Richard) of Cambridge, Jeff Puckett (Brenda) of Vinita, OK and Brian Headley of Galva; his brother Leo Collinson (Virginia) of Galva; and his grandchildren, Codi (Jamie), Roth (Kristina), H. R. III, Jake (Hailey), Mia, Jill, Andy, Scott, Laurie, Nicole, Carson, Hank, Alison, Mollie and Jesse. He is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren.
