George E. Wilson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George E. Wilson of Galva, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Wilson and Ruby Wilson; his former wife Lilly M. Schmitt; his stepfather Jacob Garness; his siblings, Donald and Bonnie Lynd; and his stepdaughter Pam Foley.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Goodrich Whaley; his children, Robert Wilson (Desireé Cornwall) of Florida and Kristine Anderson (Eric) of Galva; his stepchildren, Steve Whaley of Bloomington, IL, Wende Devlin (Kevin) of Rio and Becky Riley of Atkinson; his stepson-in-law Tim Foley of Galva; his sister Helen Glasgo of Aurora; his grandchildren, Anthony Miller (Elizabeth), Samantha Miller, Madison Wilson and Jaxson Meier; and his great grandchildren, Huxley and Mason Haptonstall. He is also survived by six step-great grandchildren.
