It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Peterson (Galva, Illinois), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hanson and Ila Hanson (Swanson); and her sisters, Phyllis and Eunice. She is survived by: her husband David R. Peterson; her children, Scott Peterson (Penny) of Marshfield, WI, Webb Peterson of Westfield, IN and Jilene Hergert (John) of Altona; her sister Carol Mobley (Jerry) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and her grandchildren, Mallory Brun (Dan), Abigail Smallwood (Matthew), Logan McCoy (Jamie), Kayla Siudak (Michael), Karleen and Harry Hergert. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral home will maintain compliance with COVID regulations and requires that all guests wear a mask for the safety of all those attending.
