It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene W. Peterson of Galva, Illinois, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence B. Peterson and Gladys B. Westlin Peterson; and his sister Audrey. He is survived by: his former spouses, Bonnie Jo Whimer, Elaine Cosner and Jackie Stevens; his children, Charles, Nancy, David, Ronda and Rick; his sister Bea O'Brien; his stepchildren, Karen, Diane and Brian; his wife Shirley; his children, Brenda and Scott; his sister Joyce; and also Shirley Johnston Marlow. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Eugene Peterson Memorial Fund.
