He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hulstrom and Helen Hulstrom (Wilson); his brother Scott; and his niece Vicki. He is survived by: his wife Brenda K. Plummer; his children, Natalie Hulstrom of Hennepin, Ernie Hulstrom Jr. of Galva and Brandon Hulstrom (Michelle) of Galva; his sisters, Sonja Shinn (Terry) of House Springs, MO and Suzie Gale (Dan) of Texas; his sister-in-law Donna of East Troy, WI; and his grandsons, Braxton and Sawyer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to his family or to the Galva Congregational Church and can be mailed to the funeral home.
